Dost Thou Jest in Fantastical Realms?

As a DM of several years in TTRPGs such as Dungeons & Dragons (5e) and Zweihander, I have gathered many resources and created a wealth of homebrew content. I will make my discoveries available here for all to enjoy! But first, a little about my games...

CURRENT CAMPAIGNS

Character Playlist!

Synopsis: Fate has brought together an unlikely group. All sent the same letter, in the same little town, sharing the same death. But an unknown force has given them a second chance.

I play the Zoologist Kr'r'riztoz Donnadieu. A Holier than thou Cleric who cares little about anything but his own goals and needs. He is currently searching for the monster that put him in a wheelchair, and to complete his compendium of beasts fully documenting the creatures of the world.

But, currently the party are solving crimes! We apprehended a criminal that's been vexing us, she can't tell us who hired her due to a magic parasite in her brain, so now we journey to the other side of the country to hunt down a creature that hunts those nasty worms!

'UPCOMING CAMPAIGN' The party, a shifty rogues gallery, are hired by a wealthy individual to hunt the most dangerous game. Ancient giants that slumber in the earth that are filled with valuable plunder... And they are the right group to be paid incalculable riches in exchange for the felling of these giants. Aboard a skyship, they sail out to hunt down and kill these monsters, getting into mischief with their new-found fortunes along the way. (Long-term campaign, I'll be running this, 50-100 sessions)

PAST CAMPAIGNS

Shorter Campaigns

  • 'The Timeloop Campaign.' (One-shot, 2024) The players are your stereotypical adventuring party, but once they arrive in town to deal with some goblins, time itself goes awry and traps them in the same 12 hours. (No more than 5 sessions)
  • 'Dead Wolves.' (32 Sessions, 2024) A lich known as the Wi'Kte has disrupted the order of life and death, causing all mindless undying across Firnus to serve under their will. Those who resist must fight through the undead and resist falling into despair against the mounting pressure of eternal darkness as the Wi'Kte has devoured one of the two suns, suspending the other in the sky until the time it right to consume it too. The party had to collect the items needed to undo the Wi'Kte's rise to godhood and most importantly keep themselves alive long enough to not fall into despair as mindless undead.

Campaign Playlist!

Synopsis: A tale in two parts. In the world of Firnus, in the country of The Khololands, a deep winter has gripped the country for generations. The Jarl of the Ashkeep with assistance of Gurav's King to the South has hired a team (one in a line of many lost, or dead) to travel further South and find the cause of the great chill. Encountering lost tombs, ancient gods, abandoned cities and the discovery of a lost royal line, the party wage war with an army of ice elementals to find what summoned them. The last remaining worshipper of a lost god, attempting to coat the world in ice to reset all life. To end the suffering of the current era. But, with a paw reached out in friendship and the other wielding great violence, the party overcame her and brought about the first spring in over 100 years.

The party return in the second act to return home to Gurav. The country is divided, the ruling class crush all other beasts in the land. But, our party, having met after a year apart at a travelling show, watch as a dangerous artefact is stolen. After recovering the artefact they are simultaneously attacked by a mysterious group of strange beasts. Over the course of the next few months they are hunted by this group, The Dreamers, as they collect the pieces of an ancient blade and unlock the mysteries behind it.

The party, in their usual kind nature, listen to The Dreamers, learn that they serve Eydis White-Tail, the only known decendant of the last Dentar King who wielded the Waking Blade. Her visions speak of the steps to take so that she can create a new country by recreating the blade, gathering allies, and defeating Gurav's King. As of now, the party have waged war with Gurav on the side of The Dreamers, soon to march upon their enemy's capital.

Character Playlist! (Chicken)

Character Playlist! (Mayit)

Character Playlist! (???)

Synopsis: Set in the country of Ransoura, where Middle-Eastern culture, landscapes and dinosaurs(!) meet in a fantasy world, the party start their adventure as academy students who unravel a mystery involving three missing students. The teacher responsible had kidnapped those students in order to unlock the mysteries of immortality, and, after escaping, left the party with a bucket full of mysteries to unravel themselves. Questing forward as part of their studies, when another student goes missing, the lovable Greg, the party take their journies further afield and learn more about the plans of The Immortals

The first of my characters, Chicken, was at one time two creatures, a parrot and a T-rex. After an accident when a wizard and a sorcerer had a fight, the parrot & T-rex were both zapped by a stray spell and fused into one creature, Chicken! The new being tried to flee the scene and in time was captured by an animal trafficer who attempted to train Chicken along side his array of exotic pets. Caged and whipped when he did not behave, Chicken was eventually freed by a young girl called Amirah, who then helped Chicken to free as many animals as they could before fleeing back to her home. The two lived together for many years with Amirah's mother. Chicken became a member of the family, using his ability to mimic others to speak for himself and on behalf of Amirah when strangers did not understand her sign. But. There came a day when the trafficer returned to town to hunt Chicken down, fearful for his life, he fled without saying goodbye.

From here, lost in the desert, Chicken found Pilgrim, a warforged, broken in the sand, after repairing them, Pilgrim returned the favor, saving Chicken when the bird choked on a rock that looked vaugely edible soon after. Chicken & Pilgrim were inseperable from there on... Well... Until much later into the adventure when Chicken was reunited with his creators. Two men who it turned out once named him Muejaza. After his creation they cared for him, but with how unstable his form was, Muejaza forgot his time with his fathers and teleported away only to be captured. Muejaza returned to his family to spend time with them and introduce all of his family members to eachother.

This is where Mayit joined the party. Once a bard with his own adventuring party, Mayit was murdered after strife evolved in his party. His friends thinking Mayit abandoned one of his allies to be killed during a quest. Due to being blind in life, he did not see who killed him. When he awoke after clawing his way out of a shallow grave in the sand, Mayit saw the sky for the first time, and upon seeing his reflection in the closest settlement, he saw a partially mummified corpse. Mayit had returned as a revenant, with the drive to right the wrong of his own death, and the overwhelming grief fueling his barbarian rage. He dedicated himself to the tiger headed god of battle, Nivaku. Joined The Order, dedicated towards killing invading fiends and monsters, and searched for information on those he thought he could trust. He joined the party through The Order and assisted them in locating artifacts of the gods, until he reunited with his old party, learning that in a previous quest with them, Mayit accidentally freed a demon of revenge, one that killed the ally his party blamed him for. With the means to clear his name he reunited with the others and both parties destroyed the demon, freeing Mayit to move on into the afterlife.

After this, Muejaza rejoined the party, but, Pilgrim was gone! Pilgrim left to discover the secrets of their own past, so Muejaza led the party in the search to reunite with their friend. After ascending to the top of The Black Tower, they found Pilgrim embued with the power of The Everlight, and when given the power to ascend as a god, Muejaza could not imagine being without them, and joined Pilgrim in the ascension.

For the final stretch of the campaign I played a changeling rouge who was paid to spy on & protect the party as they made their final moves to defeat the BBEG.
